The entire project was completed in a week. The utility lines were marked, the weeds were killed, the ground tilled, the beds were planted and mulched during one very hot week this past June. Chris Verme, the owner, checked on the progress several times during the week. He was forthcoming with details concerning the care of our landscape once it was completed. When the landscape was finished, he did a final inspection. He also helped us contact the San Antonio Water System when a water leak was discovered in the yard and the leak was repaired the next day. 
I would definitely recommend VHS Landscaping to anyone who would like a beautifully landscaped yard.

Excellent experience from start to finish! Chris had excellent ideas and suggestions for ways we might improve our curb appeal from the front and our personal enjoyment of the back yard area and he showed a genuine enthusiasm for this job. We had some issues to address with drainage and plumbing and Chris knew exactly what to do. When we received his quote it was comprehensive with all the breakdown of materials, labor, delivery and disposal fees, etc. In my experience, the more comprehensive the quote is, the better the final outcome. We did not chose VHS because it was the lowest quote, we chose them because we felt and instant trust in Chris and we liked the way he presented the quote. The job started on time and was completed in a reasonable amount of time. Chris was very communicative throughout the entire process. We are thoroughly thrilled with our new yard. We have been able to test our French drain because of the recent rains and everything is working perfectly. We also feel confident that if we have any issues down the road Chris will stand behind his work. In the future as we maintain our landscaping and, perhaps, add to it, we'll know exactly who to call. This was a great experience!
