We are VHS Landscaping, L.L.C based in San Antonio, Texas. With over 20 years experience in landscape design and construction, we are dedicated to helping you create a outdoor living space you will love for years to come.
In 1996, VHS Landscaping began as a ministry to the community, helping the elder community perform simple landscaping tasks such as mowing yards, turning gardens, or planting flowers. In 1999, we developed into a full-service landscaping company.
Our specialty is residential installation and renovation. We enjoy working one on one with the customer to make their vision for their landscape or outdoor living space come to life. Our philosophy is simple, make the customer happy. We will do everything in our power to ensure the customers satisfaction by way of customer service, experience, reasonable pricing, and exceptional quality.

Chris started the company in 1999 and has been the sole owner since. The love of horticulture and construction are the driving force by which Chris started and continues to operate VHS. Chris is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio and studied Construction Management, Finance and General
Management. Chris integrates his education and experience in outdoor living to bring our clients dreams
to a tangible reality. Chris' true love
is playing in the dirt, so don't be surprised if you see him on your job site lending a hand.

Jenn
If you have the pleasure of talking to Jenn, then you know how lucky we are to have her in the VHS family! Jenn is responsible for client intake and scheduling (and about a million other tasks!). Her passion is helping others to get organized and meet their goals. When she's not busy assisting others, you'll probably find her at home snuggled up with a book and her beloved pups. Her idea of a perfect day is spending time near the ocean, stand up paddle-boarding alongside her husband of 20 years.
Jerry
• Landscape Design Specialist •
Jerry was architecturally trained at the
Cornell University School of Architecture, Art and Planning. His creative works have been featured in numerous magazines and exhibits, including the Smithsonian.
Jerry's focus is on designing landscapes, swimming pools, and related gardenscapes which optimize the personal lifestyles of our clients and projects.
Jerry's goal has always been to work towards perfection through united design practices; by seeking to enhance the lives of as many types of clients as possible through the processes of creating beautiful environments for people to share, in order to enhance our beautiful world.
Byron
• Project Manager •
Growing up in farming and ranching has given Byron a broad stroke of skills and abilities; making him a great project manager. Byron has spent the majority of his 30+ year career leading and motivating people and his position at VHS is no different. Byron has been in the industry so long that there is rarely a question he can not answer or an associate he does not already know. Byron is also our resident licensed irrigator and an encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to sprinklers and drainage.
Jose
• Project Manager • Estimator •
Jose is our rising star. Being one of the youngest and newest managers in the company hasn’t stopped him from soaking up as much knowledge as possible from his fellow mangers. His daily activities range from project management to consulting and estimating. Jose has proven to be a fast learner, exhibiting a passion for research and an eagerness to tackle new challenges. His enthusiasm and skills make him a valuable asset here at VHS. We're thrilled to have Jose on our team and can't wait to see what the future has in store for him.

Sean has a wealth of masonry experience and puts it to good use as one of our hardscape managers. When we need creative ideas for stone projects, Sean is the first person we turn to - his eye for stone is unparalleled! Whether you're looking to install a new new paver patio, beautiful stone kitchen, or a timeless flagstone walkway, you are sure to have the pleasure of working with Sean to make your dreams a reality. Not only does he oversee and estimate projects, but he also leads and teaches by example, and you'll often find him on-site, hands-on with the installation processes.

Meet Bob the Builder! Bob is a retired home builder with an impressive 35 years of experience in construction. We are so fortunate to have Bob as a consultant for the VHS. Truly, Bob is an encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to residential construction. Naturally, Bob helps to consult and oversee some of our outdoor living projects including integrated patio covers, pavilions, patios, studios and even our concrete projects. We're so thankful for his expertise!
