Where did spring go? We seemed to jump straight from winter to summer. It may be hot but it is still a great time to landscape or complete the outdoor living project you have been considering. Let's get the yard and outdoor living areas ready for the fall because, by the time it arrives, we will be very ready for it.
Concerned about the Water Restrictions and the summer heat but want to get some landscaping done? Consider staging your projects. Summer is a great time to install hardscaping (patios, deck, pergolas, walkways, outdoor kitchens ect.) and to get those planting beds ready for when the weather starts to cool in the fall. Let us install your new beds, boulders, pathways, patios, outdoor kitchens irrigation systems, landscape lighting, trees, and retaining walls. Fall is a perfect time for us to come back and install those shrubs, perennials, annuals and grass. Dividing up the project into two or three phases allows you to spread your budget over months, instead of days or weeks. It is also a great way to get your landscape ready for the fall when the weather cools and you want to go spend time outdoors.
One idea to consider is Synthetic Turf. True story, I was standing on the synthetic turf in the above picture (we had finished the project several months before); it took me about 10 minutes before I remembered that it was not real grass! Synturf is a great product for small lawn spaces if you just want to be water wise.
